This poster was created for a young entrepreneur who had a relationship with the D-league team caricatured in this poster. The budget was not what you might think, given the big name sponsor.
My cartoon style is
gentle and flattering. The reference photos can be pretty poor quality,
as long as the likeness is there and it's taken from the necessary
angle.
